It's sheer luck that they manage to get out of the manor in time.
If Tess didn't have the resources she does, their situation could have ended a lot differently. Fortunately her security is able to slip them out of the mansion - left to be destroyed by the Hand - and out into one of the numerous Luthor safehouses that Lionel had stored away for a rainy day. From there, Tess is able to get one of her private doctors to come in and attend to Elektra's injuries, paid quietly in cash for his trouble, and they are left alone to recover. While Elektra is resting, she is ever vigilant, working hard to make sure they are safe and secure at all times.
She may not be a stone cold assassin or a metahuman, but she can hold her own well enough and she knows the defenses of this place better than they do. If all else fails, she can at least get Elektra into one of the panic rooms before damage can be done. She thinks defensively, rather than offensively. And if that fails - well, Clark can be here at a moment's notice. He at least owes her that much.
She's standing on the balcony for a moment of fresh air, making it seem like she's just a woman enjoying her relaxing mountain getaway when really she's checking the perimeter and making sure that her security system isn't being messed with. She's dressed in a rob and has a warm cup of coffee in her hand, but she's keeping her ears attuned for movement, both inside the house and out.
The view really is very beautiful. Too bad she isn't there to enjoy it.

"Have I made you completely paranoid yet?" It'd be a joke except for the fact it clearly isn't.

The quip fades after a moment, and her face softens to something more along the lines of concern. "There's some tea if you want some."

"I'd really like some tea." Elektra tries not to look guilty as she asks, "Do you mind getting it for me?" Moving more than necessary feels like an impossible task right now.

"I figure we can stay here until you're able to move and then keep moving. Standing still for too long might not be our best option."
